Livelihood
Livelihood is not just about poverty alleviation. The important thing is that the communities need to understand and realise the capacities and potentialities to become self-dependent. Generally, it happens that rural communities have got the traditional knowledge, they have got resources but they do not get enough opportunities to actualise their understanding in a focussed manner. There is a gap of a catalyst that can integrate all the resources and capitals and create an environment where the communities have the chance to flourish. We as an organization understand the challenges to smoothen and roll the wheel of development. We have our strategies to make the efforts work and we move on. Grameen Sahara has been promoting farm, off-farm and nonfarm based livelihood activities in Agriculture & Allied sectors.
