Goal |
- To ensure food Security by Enhancing productivity of the principal crop-paddy and two other area specific crops.
- To enhance income by periodic cash flow through introduction of horticulture, vegetable farming and multi-cropping techniques.
- To build basic infrastructure so far as water is concerned.
- To avail quality seed/saplings through interventions of community nursery.
- To reduce drudgery of women through low cost tools/technologies.
- To diversify the income sources through livestock and fishery.
- To demonstrate low cost models that can be replicated.
- Try to ensure changes through awareness, training, skill and capacity building initiatives, particularly women farmers, specifically the CRPs and the Community Leaders.
- To enhance the Bargaining power of farmers and their access to market.

Expected Output |
- Promote SRI (Paddy) and two other crops in 1000 Acre of land.
- Demonstrate horticulture/multi-cropping techniques covering 20 Acre of land.
- Setting up of 30 community nursery units
- Ensure availability of water in 1000 Acre of land through low cost water lifting devices and low cost water saving irrigation devices.
- Installation of 215 vermin-compost units
- Demonstrate possibilities of drudgery reduction with 1500 Mahila Kisan
- Demonstrate the possibility of diversifying income sources through interventions in livestock with 250 MKs
- Create 60 Community Resource Persons’ to support the clusters/community institutions in planning, production and market linkages.
